Cabo Girão – Câmara de Lobos

We started our top with a golden key. The Cabo Girão viewpoint, located in the municipality of Câmara de Lobos, is one of the most recognized points in all of Madeira. It is an almost vertical promontory with 589 m high, being the 2nd largest in Europe. This viewpoint offers a beautiful view of the sea and the natural landscape that surrounds it.

Ponta do Rosto Viewpoint – Caniçal

Heading towards the most arid part of Madeira with an altitude of approximately 135m, at the tip of São Lourenço, more precisely in the municipality of Machico, there is a viewpoint with excellent views, where you can clearly observe both the northern and southern parts of the island, feel the smell of the sea and still take quality photos if you have a sunny day.

Balcony of Ribeiro Frio – Santana

Venturing through the dense woods of Madeira and finding paradise in all aspects is another level, right? Located in the municipality of Santana, this viewpoint shows nature at its best at a height of 870m. This one is not to be missed.

Eira da Achada viewpoint – Porto Moniz

Visiting the northern part of the island, in the municipality of Porto Moniz, we find a spectacular viewpoint that overlooks the northern part of the island, as well as some villages and the ocean itself at more than 150m altitude. An unforgettable sight for sure.

Beira da Quinta viewpoint – Santana

Continuing in the northern part, in the municipality of Santana, we have this viewpoint with an altitude of over 500m, with a unique view over a triangular geological depression, where you can see the small villages and the vast ocean.
